Kevin Painter is known as being a former major winner and PDC World Championship finalist but has not been on the PDC Tour for two years having lost his Tour Card in 2018.

Painter has since played on the Challenge Tour and as he revealed has been involved in playing Open tournaments and knockouts to keep his form up and that he is ready to give Q-School one more go to see if he can return to the higher echelons of the game.
"I wasn't in the best health over the past couple of years, that seems to be sorting itself out now and I'm quite happy now. My form has picked up now, I still do knockout tournaments and I find them good for testing your form," said the Artist to the Weekly Dartscast.
"It's obviously not the sort of standard you're used to playing on the ProTour. It's still good and I really enjoy it; which I wasn't enjoying anything on the ProTour."
"I'll probably give Q-School one more bash and see how I get on. Hopefully I'm on decent form. I'll carry on with the exhibitions, it's one part of the darts I really enjoy, you meet some great people."
