PDC Challenge Tour and Development Tour set to conclude with two weekends of action

The announcement of the PDC Autumn Series on Monday has been followed up with the fate of the PDC Challenge Tour and Development Tour which has not been revealed until today.

Both Challenge and Development Tours had only played one four-event weekend in 2020 before the Coronavirus pandemic hit.

But they will both return with six events each over three-day weekends so two weekends between them to conclude the season.

Development Tour will be first and it will take place between September 25-27 with six £10,000 events followed by the early rounds of the PDC World Youth Championship which will be decided at Minehead in November.

Challenge Tour will then follow between October 9-11 with six final £10,000 events to finish their season off. As usual the top two players from each Order of Merit will receive a two-year PDC Tour Card for 2021/2022.

As well as the usual top two from Development Tour and top from Challenge Tour will gain a spot at the next PDC World Championship.
