PDC European Q-School 2025: Kai Gotthardt finally becomes Tour Card Holder for the first time

Kai Gotthardt has long been one of the best players to not have a Tour Card and one of Germany's leading hopes and he will have the next two years on the PDC Tour after succeeding today at PDC European Q-School.
Gotthardt triumphed over his compatriot Steven Noster in a last leg decider to triumph on Day Two of the Final Stage and perhaps in comparison to Viktor Tingstrom yesterday was an expected winner.
Today he saw off Stefaan Henderyck, Davy Proosten, Michael Unterbuchner and Jamai van den Herik in the latter stages. The last display in particular was important as he hit a 108 average in sealing the win which kickstarted his run towards the win.
There are two more days to go of European Q-School and two more outright Tour Cards but in terms of Order of Merit, Cor Dekker in particular looks safe on seven points thus far.

It is quite pathetic and desperate the way Bunting and Arsepinall pander to the crowd to dance to their walk on music, that has worked though. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
