The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the European Darts Trophy with changes in the top 10 as well as the continued rise of a certain Wessel Nijman, the champion in Gottingen.
Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price both made small moves up and now sit seventh and eighth respectively in the Order of Merit. That came at the expense of Stephen Bunting, who dropped two places to ninth.
Rock continues to cement his place near the top of the rankings. The Northern Irishman reached another Euro Tour quarterfinal and, for the second year running, made the semifinals at the UK Open. His strong showing in Minehead earned him £35,000, bringing him another step closer to the very top tier.
Gerwyn Price also showed he is in a strong spell. The Welshman reached the final in Göttingen, building on his UK Open semifinal, where he was knocked out by James Wade. Price began the year ranked 12th in the world, but has now climbed back towards the upper reaches of the rankings.
Wessel Nijman has made a big jump on the world rankings after his triumph at the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen. The 25-year-old Dutchman captured his first European Tour title last weekend, a success that not only earned him the biggest payday of his career but also a significant rise on the PDC Order of Merit.
Nijman started the season ranked 29th in the world, but thanks to his strong results in the first months of 2026 he now sits in 20th. In Göttingen he made a major impression by winning the tournament with an average well over 102, a level that firmly placed him among the world’s elite.
The Dutchman took the £35,000 top prize in Germany, the largest amount he has earned in his career to date. As a result, he moved past players such as Rob Cross, Luke Woodhouse, Dave Chisnall, and Daryl Gurney in terms of prize money earned over the past two years.
It wasn’t the first time this season that Nijman stood out. Earlier in the year he had already won a Players Championship event, putting him on course for a rankings climb. Notably, he beat Gerwyn Price in both that final and the title decider in Göttingen, underlining his fine form.
Krzysztof Ratajski likewise continued his good start to the season. The Pole reached the UK Open quarterfinals for the first time in five years and returned to the world’s top 25. Ratajski defeated Ricky Evans, Oskar Lukasiak, and World Championship semifinalist Ryan Searle before bowing out in the last eight. His performance earned him £20,000.

Springer makes the climb

German player Niko Springer also benefited from his strong run on home soil. The 25-year-old reached the quarterfinals of the European Darts Trophy and earned £8,000, good for a rise to 51st in the world. Springer won three last-leg deciders in a row, against Kai Gotthardt, Stephen Bunting, and Ross Smith, before he himself lost in a decider to Damon Heta.

The rankings will continue to shift in the coming weeks as the ProTour rolls on. The next chance for players to earn points and prize money arrives soon, when the European Tour heads to Wieze for the Belgian Darts Open from 20/03/2026 to 22/03/2026. That tournament could again have a major impact on the PDC Order of Merit, especially for players just outside the top 16 who want to secure better seeding for the big TV events later in the season.
