PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit Update: Wessel Nijman builds massive lead over Gerwyn Price at top with Luke Littler languishing outside top 16

Wessel Nijman has tightened his grip at the top of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit after adding yet another Pro Tour title on Tuesday. Nijman took the crown in Hildesheim at Players Championship 14, his sixth title of the season.

Nijman cruised through the early rounds. He beat Daniel Klose (6-2), Jurjen van der Velde (6-1), and Niall Culleton (6-3) to reach the last 16, without once needing a ton-plus average.

The level rose from the last 16 onwards. He posted a 102.19 average against Joe Cullen (6-4), followed by a comprehensive win over Krzysztof Ratajski (6-1). In that match, Nijman produced a 102.98 average per visit.

A semi-final clash with compatriot Danny Noppert awaited, but it was never really tense. Nijman defeated his fellow Dutchman 7-2 to reach another floor final. He then left Max Hopp with no chance at all in the decider, winning 8-1.

With £15,000 in prize money, Nijman moved his total to £258,000, making him the clear number one on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit. The PDC Pro Tour ranking includes prize money won at all floor events and the Euro Tours over a rolling 365-day period. Nijman won two Players Championship events at the end of 2025, and those titles still count toward the current Pro Tour standings.

Number two Gerwyn Price is almost £100,000 adrift, as “The Iceman” has amassed £174,750 on the Pro Tour over the past twelve months. The gaps are much smaller behind Price, with Chris Dobey third on £172,750. Nathan Aspinall (£157,750) and Stephen Bunting (£150,500) complete the top five.

Danny Noppert sits sixth as the second Dutchman on the Pro Tour Order of Merit, while Jermaine Wattimena is also in the top 10 at ninth. Wattimena narrowly keeps heavy hitters like Luke Humphries (tenth) and James Wade (eleventh) behind him.

For Luke Littler however, who has not played a Players Championship event in all of 2026 and regularly skips Euro Tours, the result is missing out on a lot of prize money. The Nuke sits only 18th on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit.

Similar can be said for Michael van Gerwen, who sits 39th. The three-time world champion missed many Pro Tour events in 2025 and therefore collected little prize money.
