Devon Petersen will once again be at the PDC World Championship at the end of the year having come through the African Qualifier this past weekend in Cape Town.

Petersen eased through defeating Jason Erasmus 6-0, Frank Avenant 6-1 and Masande Mgedeza among others in the latter stages.
It gives 'The African Warrior' a huge chance to potentially retain his Tour Card at the end of the year and shows his dominance still in South Africa.
The likes of Vernon Bouwers and Liam O'Brien did get to the latter stages as well but only Nolan Arendse of note got to the Quarter-Finals or better as well.
Last year similarly was a big tournament for the South African and he will hope it can be the same this year as he aims not to be going back to Q-School in January.
Quarter-Finals
Devon Petersen 6-0 Jason Erasmus
Frank Avenant 6-3 Dameon Steffens
Masande Mgedeza 6-5 Justin van der Westhuizen
Nolan Arendse 6-4 Cameron Carolissen
Semi-Finals
Devon Petersen 6-1 Frank Avenant
Masande Mgedeza 6-3 Nolan Arendse
Final
Devon Petersen 6-0 Masande Mgedeza
