Players Championship 20 Results, Last 128: Wright, White and Cross among players through to second round in Barnsley

Wright edged out Madars Razma in a 6-4 win while White after the disappointment of Tuesday eased past Yordi Meeuwisse. Cross took out Richard North in a 6-2 win.

He will next face off against Raymond van Barneveld who faces another tough start to the day in his return to ProTour action. One of the performances of the round though came from Mark Dudbridge who hit a 103 average in seeing off Ted Evetts. It will be White though for 'Flash' in Round Two.

Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock were the big names to fall in the first round with losses to Peter Hudson and Ryan Searle respectively. Glen Durrant also bowed out early losing out to Steve West.
