Players Championship 22 Results, Last 32: White, Suljovic and Ratajski secure Last 16 spot, Kantele impresses with 103 average in win over Whitehead

The Last 16 lineup is confirmed at Players Championship 22 with the likes of Ian White, Mensur Suljovic and Krzysztof Ratajski continuing their excellent form over the double header so far.
White saw off William O'Connor in a 6-3 win despite only averaging 89 against the in-form Irishman and he may be in for a battle in the next round where he faces Harry Ward.
Ward of course has won a PDC ranking title this season and averaged 102.9 in smashing Mike de Decker so could pose a real threat to the dominance of the Diamond.
Suljovic edged out Ryan Meikle in a 6-3 win in which The Barber came back to give 'The Gentle' a real tough test but he came through. Ratajski hit a 94 average to continue the averages which saw him win yesterday's event as he saw off Ryan Searle in a 6-4 victory.
Marko Kantele also impressed hitting a 103 average in edging out Conan Whitehead; in the decider in particular he impressed smashing in 140, 100, 100 before hitting a 161 checkout to edge out 'The Barbarian'.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry. It is quite pathetic and desperate the way Bunting and Arsepinall pander to the crowd to dance to their walk on music, that has worked though. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
