Saturday also sees the top-16 seeds enter the
European Darts Matchplay. During the afternoon session, the first eight matches of the second round will be played.
On Saturday afternoon among the ties include Gian van Veen taking on Damon Heta for a spot in the last sixteen.
Dirk van Duijvenbode faces off with Andrew Gilding.
The afternoon session kicks off with a duel between Dave Chisnall and Ryan Joyce, before we get a Northern Irish showdown with
Josh Rock and Brendan Dolan. Next,
Rob Cross faces off with Mickey Mansell.
Nathan Aspinall meets Martin Lukeman in the first round. Joe Cullen faces Czech qualifier Vitezslav Sedlak, before Ross Smith and Stephen Bunting close out the afternoon session.

The afternoon sessions will start at 12 p.m., while the evening sessions will start at 6 p.m.

How much prize money is to be won?
During each Euro Tour tournament, £175,000 in prize money is distributed. All qualifiers are guaranteed £1,250, while the top-16 players on the placement list at the European Darts Matchplay will receive £2,500 anyway. However, these 16 players must win their first game in the second round for the prize money to actually count toward the world rankings and other rankings.
Per victory, the prize money earned increases. For example, the finalists already receive a minimum of £12,000. The winner of the tournament goes home with the top prize of 30,000 pounds.
