The Premier League Darts line-up is confirmed in just over an hour so it's time to have your say. Four players already confirmed due to their spots in the top four but the other four have been part of the usual conjecture for the past few weeks.
Often during the PDC World Darts Championship, it is less about the matches late on but who can force themselves into Premier League Darts contention.
With Nathan Aspinall, Stephen Bunting and even Danny Noppert all losing fairly early at the PDC World Darts Championship, their hopes of Premier League spots became a bit of a question mark. But the PDC are well known in the past for picking players based off commercial value and fan favourite factor over form.
Once a bit of an anomaly with only Paul Nicholson missing out having won a major title, the likes of Danny Noppert, Mike de Decker, Andrew Gilding and Ross Smith have all won majors and been snubbed for the darting roadshow. Instead players such as Dimitri van den Bergh, Nathan Aspinall among others have been picked for the event owing in part to commercial value e.g walk-ons and their popularity.

Format unchanged wth three players already confirmed

This makes the conundrum of the Premier League tougher than ever going into 2026. Chatter has gone round in regards to potential picks for the eight as well as the potential to bring the number back to 10. But Matt Porter, Chief Executive of the PDC has confirmed now on multiple occasions that there would be no bending or breaking on the rule as it gives fans a winner in the arena which they like but also it is good for viewing figures.
Albeit more ardant darting fans would argue that the Premier League goes stale quickly as the same players are picked for the World Series and matches are more common fayre. But despite some discontent from some portions of the darting community, the eight player format remains and before it gets announced at 3:30pm GMT, it is time to have your say.
Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and debutant Gian van Veen are certainties for the event owing to their top four status. The latter is now World No.3 after his PDC World Darts Championship run. Gerwyn Price has also confirmed his spot in Saudi Arabai and Bahrain on the World Series so either he is in the Premier League or has been left out and given the World Series instead which is sometimes the case. All will be revealed shortly.
