Prize money almost sevenfold over years

there was only £150,000 in prize money available. In subsequent years, that amount continued to rise steadily and in 2013, at £520,000, the prize pool exceeded half a million for the first time.
In the following years, the PDC kept adding adding money to the prestigious darts competition. In 2017 the participants were already able to divide £825,000 between themselves. In 2022, the barrier of one million pounds in prize money was broken.
