Premier League Darts 2024 standings: Luke Littler takes over second place from Michael van Gerwen after title in Belfast

Michael van Gerwen has lost second place to Luke Littler after the ninth round of play in Premier League Darts. 'The Nuke' managed to win the weekly title in Belfast on Thursday night.

Littler stands at 18 rounds of play after nine rounds of play, after winning Thursday night over Luke Humphries (6-5), Michael van Gerwen (6-3) and Nathan Aspinall (6-4).

Luke Humphries, despite his defeat in the first match, is still the leader in the standings with 22 points, while Van Gerwen holds the third position with 17 points.

Nathan Aspinall is currently fourth with sixteen points. This gives 'The Asp' a three-point lead over number five Michael Smith, while Rob Cross follows behind with eleven points. Gerwyn Price (seven points) and Peter Wright (four points) are in the bottom two spots in the Premier League Darts.
