Premier League night in Berlin starts an hour earlier than usual

Darts fans should note an unusual start time in the Premier League Darts this week. Night Eight of the season on Thursday, 26/3/2026, will begin one hour earlier than usual. Instead of 7:00 PM, the program will get underway at 6:00 PM.

The change relates to the venue. The Premier League visits the Uber Arena in Berlin this week and, due to organization in Germany, the matches will start earlier. That happens more often when the competition is staged outside the United Kingdom.

For viewers, it means the first quarterfinal will be thrown at 6:00 PM. That also immediately kicks off the race for the eighth nightly title of the season, with the customary £10,000 bonus awaiting the winner of the night.

As the season moves toward its decisive phase, points are becoming increasingly important. The top four after sixteen nights qualify for the play-offs, which gives every round extra weight. That is precisely why the early start in Berlin could influence the flow of the evening, both for the players and for fans following the tournament live.

As usual on Night Eight, players are paired based on their current positions in the standings. Number one plays number eight, number two meets number seven, and so on.

There is then a clear gap to third-placed Price, who has collected twelve points. In this section of the rankings the margins are tighter. Humphries sits fourth on eleven points, with Van Gerwen and Van Veen just outside the top four on ten and nine points respectively. Bunting is on seven points, while Rock is the only player still scoreless.
