Gerwyn Price and
Michael van Gerwen have assured themselves spots in this year's
Premier League Darts play-offs after Night 13 in Leeds with the battle now on for top spot and the league winners' bonus.
At the moment, that will go to Price who extended his lead ahead of Van Gerwen to four points after another final after only taking top spot last week. It was another final for 'The Iceman' who lost to
Michael Smith who returns to the top four after winning his second night of the season.
While for MVG despite losing early to
Peter Wright, an early loss for
Jonny Clayton meant that he didn't need the final mooted before the night and will be assured of his spot at the O2.
Smith and
Nathan Aspinall sit a point apart inside the top four, with Clayton adrift at three points behind albeit seemingly 'The Ferret' having a chance to catch them with
Dimitri van den Bergh eight points back.
