Gerwyn Price has won the Grand Slam of Darts. 'The Iceman' claimed his maiden PDC major title after defeating Gary Anderson in a very exciting contest with 16-13.

Anderson had the upperhand throughout the match. The Scotsman took an 7-4 lead, but the Welshman managed to fight back and leveled the game in the 14th leg.
In the fourth session, Anderson had a three-leg lead once again. He hit a stunning 144 finish to extend the gap to 11-8, but again Price showed a superb fighting spirit. 'The Iceman' leveled the match in the 26th leg and quickly took over the momentum.
Price hit a 15-dart leg to move 14-13 and broke the Scotsman's throw with a 40 checkout. Anderson was unable to stop the momentum and the Welshman claimed the Grand Slam of Darts title with a 14-dart leg.
