At the next interval, he followed up a fifth maximum with a 99 checkout to make it 6-4. Price took out 74 from there to hold throw and after Petersen missed an opportunity at 109.

A 72 checkout on double 20 saw Price get a break back at respond at 6-6. He left double 10 on his own throw as he headed into a 7-6 lead.

Relief was etched on the face of Petersen as he managed to hold from there and he kicked off 180-100 on Price's throw but wasn't able to get a shot at 121.

Price returned as a result for a 70 checkout to move 8-7 up. The holds continued as it went 8-8.
