The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the opening European Tour tournament of the season which took place this past weekend in Budapest.
Gerwyn Price was the victor and has taken another important step heading towards the World Championship. 'The Iceman' has increased his lead over Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen at the top of the Order of Merit.
This after the possibility of Peter Wright taking over going into the World Championship was highly likely. Just under £200,000 is the lead now held by the World Champion while Van Gerwen has increased his slide under £1m.
Further down, Jonny Clayton has continued his rise going into 13th with Rob Cross who is losing money off his ranking all of the time due to tournaments coming off the next player up.
While Glen Durrant is about to slide out of the top 16 with Daryl Gurney taking 15th spot. Further down, Luke Humphires, Brendan Dolan, Jermaine Wattimena and Jamie Hughes are all up one spot.
