Price averaged 104, hitting seven 180's and hitting 46 percent on the doubles; with the latter only being let down by his time faffing on the match darts. He will next play Simon Whitlock for a place in the Quarter-Finals.
Price was exceptional in the first leg wrapping it up 3-1; with a 109 average and 3/3 on the doubles as he looked to set out an early marker.
He continued in this vein in the next set and despite Henderson finally getting another leg on the board to halve the deficit; Price continued to be a machine and wrapped it up 3-1; with a fifth 180 and he did so with an excellent 136 checkout.
He was averaging 114 and looked every bit in the form which has seen him draw comparisons with Michael van Gerwen as the best in the world.
Henderson had multiple darts to go 2-0 up; Price flipped the script going 2-1 up with back-to-back 180's and an 11-darter.
Price missed darts to go one set away with a 56 checkout; but Henderson could not hit a double 20, his trusty double and 'The Iceman' hit double five to claim the set.
He started the next set with a 115 checkout to continue his brilliance and added a 55 checkout to that to go one away. Henderson missed darts to hold throw but Price missed multiple match darts allowing the Highlander to extend his misery.
Price missed another match dart on a 72 checkout; but Henderson couldn't chip away at a 101 finish. This allowed the Welshman to claim victory.
