Due to the seedings pitting 1st v 32nd in the third round, Gerwyn Price could have a potential rematch with Raymond van Barneveld at the PDC World Darts Championship.
For Price, it is one he is relishing saying that he 'bombed' opportunities in that game and lost it himself as opposed to Van Barneveld winning it and believes he will do it when it matters most.

Speaking to the latest Love The Darts Podcast, Price said: "In the Grand Slam I was pretty steady but a lot of players were playing well against me, especially Raymond in the two games.
"I don't think he beat me. I bombed the two games because I missed chances. I failed to win seven legs on the bounce, which isn't my game.
"Raymond played really well but I think I lost the game rather than him winning, so if I get through the first round at the Worlds then I'll be more than ready for Raymond. I've never beat him on TV but I'm sure if I get through this will be the first time."
Price added: "Once the exhibitions are done and dusted I'll have a week off preparing on my own and I might even go and see my old mate Barrie Bates to have a bit of practice, which I normally do before the Worlds for a bit of the set format play.
"There's more pressure this year knowing that I'm defending ranking points rather than defending the trophy so it is added pressure this year."
