Price very honest after missing play-offs: 'Just didn't deserved qualification'

Gerwyn Price also failed to qualify for the play-offs in his fourth participation in the Premier League Darts. The Welshman beat Gary Anderson on Night 16, but Nathan Aspinall's win made him eliminated.

Price did his job to stay within a chance to make the play-offs. ''Gary didn't play too well tonight but to be honest I didn't look too much at that. I wanted to concentrate on my own game all the time so that I couldn't blame myself afterwards", Price said to RTL 7.

Following his victory over Anderson he needed Michael van Gerwen and Aspinall to lose their matches. Van Gerwen lost to Daryl Gurney, but Aspinall claimed an impressive win against Glen Durrant. "To be honest, I didn't deserve to qualify for the play-offs either. I lost this Premier League way too many points due to my own mistake."
