From 9 September to 11 September, the German Darts Open is scheduled to take place in Jena. During this Euro Tour tournament £140,000 in prize money will be distributed.
All the qualifiers are guaranteed £1,000, while the top 16 players of the German Darts Open are guaranteed £2,000. However, these sixteen players will have to win their first match in the second round for the prize money to actually count towards the world ranking and other rankings.
Qualifying players who win their first match will also go on to receive £2,000 in prize money. The third round is good for £3000, while quarter-finalists go home with £5000 anyway. The semi-finalists will get at least £6500, before the rewards go into the five figures for reaching the final.
The winner of the eleventh Euro Tour tournament of the season will go home with £25,000. The runner-up at the German Darts Open will receive £10,000.
