On January 12-13 the inaugural edition of the
Bahrain Darts Masters will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit in the gulf state Bahrain. The prize fund for this event totals £60,000.
Eight PDC players will compete against eight Asian players at the Bahrain Darts Masters. Amongst the participants are the Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright, Raymond van Barneveld and the newly crowned world champion Michael Smith. The local qualifiers include darts legend Paul Lim and three-time World Championship participant Nitin Kumar.
The winner of this World Series tournament will go home with a cheque of £20,000. The runner-up will receive £10,000. All sixteen participants are guaranteed £1,250 in
prize money.
