The prize money has been released ahead of the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship and it will stay the same compared to last year with £2,500,000 up for grabs.

The winner of the PDC World Darts Championship will claim £500,000; which as Rob Cross showed with a lesser figure is life changing and thrust him right into the foray at the top of the rankings.
Runner-up will get £200,000; while semi-finalists both get £100,000 for their efforts if they bow out at this stage.

They will get £7,500 for losing out in the first round and £15,000 for a second round defeat. This for some players who are currently teetering on the edge of keeping their Tour Cards but have snuck into the World Championship could prove pivotal in terms of going to Q-School or not.
