Prize money breakdown for 2021 PDC Development Tour with £240,000 on offer

The 2021 PDC Development Tour starts on August 20. Because of the corona pandemic, this circuit has been split into a separate tour for British and non-British players. There is 240.000 pounds of prize money on offer during this season.

Both the UK Development Tour and the European Development Tour consist of twelve tournaments. The prize money per tournament is £10,000. Prize money is paid out from the last 64, starting with £50. That amount then increases per round. The winner will receive a nice sum of 2.000 pounds.

The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money earned. At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and UK Development Tour) receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.

The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players aged between 16 and 23, provided they are not in the top-32 of the regular PDC Order of Merit on January 4, 2021.
