From Thursday to Sunday the WDF
Welsh Classic and
Welsh Open will be played in the Welsh Prestatyn. During these tournaments players can collect points for the WDF ranking, but also earn a lot of
prize money.
On Friday the WDF Welsh Classic is on the programme. The winner of the men's tournament gets a cheque of 1500 pounds, while the ladies compete for the top prize of 750 pounds.
On Saturday the pairs tournament of the Welsh Open is on the schedule. The winning men's pair will receive £600 per team, while the top two women will split £400. There is also a mixed pairs tournament, with the two winners getting £600.
The biggest tournament of the weekend is the singles tournament of the WDF Welsh Open, which takes place on Sunday. The winner of the men's tournament will receive £3,000. The winner of the ladies tournament will receive £1500.
