The Premier League Darts 2025 is not only one of the most prestigious tournaments on the darts calendar, but also an event with impressive prize money. With a total prize fund of £1,000,000, the eight participants are competing not only for the title, but also for a substantial amount of money. How exactly will this prize money be distributed?
All participants are guaranteed £60,000 in prize money. The Premier League Darts is not a ranking tournament, so the money does not count toward the PDC Order of Merit. Of course, the prize money does flow into players' bank accounts. Most of the prize pool will be distributed during the playoffs on Thursday, May 29, in London.

The top four ranked players after sixteen weeks of play will be allowed to compete on the final night. The players who make it to the playoffs are guaranteed £85,000. The player who makes it to the final but loses out there will still receive a substantial £125,000. While just short of the top prize, it provides a nice reward for a strong season.
The player who ultimately wins the Premier League will go home with a whopping £275,000. This sum will be awarded to the winner of the playoffs. So in addition to the prestigious trophy and eternal fame, the financial picture is well worth it.
Winner's bonus per week of play: £10,000
A unique aspect of the Premier League is that a separate tournament is played each week of play, with the winner receiving an additional £10,000. This means that a player who manages to win multiple weeks of play can boost his prize money considerably. Since the league lasts for 16 weeks, an additional total of £160,000 can be distributed to the winners of these nights of play.
Price money increased substantially over the years
The prize pool in Premier League Darts has grown considerably over the years. At the very first edition in 2005, there was still only £150,000 in prize money available. In subsequent years, that amount continued to rise steadily, and in 2013, at £520,000, the prize pool exceeded half a million for the first time.
Even in the years that followed, the PDC regularly stepped up its game. For example, in 2017 the participants were already allowed to divide 825,000 pounds among themselves. In 2022, the barrier of one million pounds in prize money was broken.
