The 2022 German Darts Championship will take place in Hildesheim from 11-13 March. This is the second European Tour tournament of the season.
It consists of 48 players with Gerwyn Price, Jose de Sousa, Michael Smith, the new World Number One, Peter Wright and Jonny Clayton the top five seeds.
Devon Petersen is the defending champion at this tournament. The South African won the German Darts Championship in 2020 by beating the likes of Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross and Jonny Clayton. This event was not played in 2021 due to the corona pandemic.
