Race to 2021 World Grand Prix: Multiple players assured of debut in Leicester

Only two more tournaments await in the race to the World Grand Prix which this year will take place in Leicester.

Only the Hungarian Darts Trophy (3-5 September) and the Gibraltar Darts Trophy (24-26 September) still count for the qualifying race.

There will be multiple debutants in the East Midlands with Damon Heta, Luke Humphries, Ross Smith, Callan Rydz, Martijn Kleermaker and Darius Labanauskas currently the players set for their first appearances in the double start format.

Top seed as expected will be defending champion, Gerwyn Price ahead of Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen.

The field is basically set with the only players really able to catch those inside the respective fields in the Order of Merit having already qualified or are not playing either European Tour.
