Reigning champions, Australia have eased through to the Last 16 of the 2023 World Cup of Darts after breezing past Guyana and now Gibraltar.
Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock have not lost a leg after initially not being part of the seeds already through despite being defending champions.
They will now be a dangerous floater for those big names in England, Netherlands, Wales and Scotland who will join proceedings shortly with the draw confirmed.
The standout moment came at the end against Gibraltar with Whitlock being the anchor as Hewitt hit a 180 to leave 18, this drew a fist bump.
But Whitlock cruelly took out 126 for the match to quell any hopes of Galliano returning for a leg.

Dangerous Danes through despite USA loss

While Denmark despite losing to the USA 4-3 in the end are through. This also ends the hopes of Austria with Vladimir Andersen and Benjamin Drue Reus who impressed last night finding the legs they needed.
USA had to win by around 3-0 and 3-1 and some calculations then needed to be done but that was taken out of their hands by the Danish pairing.
Van Dongen initially fluffed his lines to begin the tie but Andersen couldn’t punish and Gates hit double two for 2-0. Andersen missed the bull for 126 and Van Dongen missed the same target for 90.
Reus returned for double eight. Van Dongen missed bull again for 122 for 3-1 and Andersen hit double 18. A 92 checkout from Andersen saw Denmark through come what may at 3-2.
A 117 on the bull saw USA make it 3-3. Reus missed match darts and Gates hit 112 to seal a consolation win.
