Rene Eidams takes title at seventh tournament of PDC Challenge Tour

Rene Eidams won the seventh tournament of the PDC Challenge Tour on Friday night. It is the first time for "The Cube" to win a PDC title.

The German managed to reach the final after victories over Ted Evetts (5-4), Andy Boulton (5-4), Jody Tobback (5-2), Franz Roetzsch (5-0), Patrick Peters (5-4), Cam Crabtree (5-4) and Kevin Burness (5-1). Then in the final, Eidams was too strong for Dennie Olde Kalter, 5-4.

The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who participated in the Q-School but did not win a Tour Card. On this tour, starting tickets for the 2024 Pro Tour and Tour Cards for 2025 and 2026 can be earned. The highest-ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for reserve spots on the Players Championships.
