Results Day 4 2020 PDC UK Q-School, First Round: Asada and Nicholson to miss out on Tour Cards, Ashton faces nervous wait

We are getting into the points rounds at 2020 PDC UK Q-School and some players are faltering under the pressure and will not get Tour Cards.

One of them is Paul Nicholson who missed darts to force a decider after being 4-0 down. 'The Asset' would have had the throw in the decider but now he will not be returning to the PDC Tour this season.

Lisa Ashton is another player who looked to be on the verge of claiming a Tour Card but instead a nervous wait awaits 'The Lancashire Rose'. She will have to hope other results go her way as she could miss out by a point again.

Another player who misses out is Seigo Asada who lost to Dave Ladley 5-4 after coming so close yesterday.

A few players though have confirmed their Tour Cards, some even without winning. Ryan Murray lost in the opening round but had enough. Peter Jacques, Andy Hamilton and Damon Heta though with victories secured their spots as well.

This means that 8 spaces remain through the Order of Merit and two outright, the action is really hotting up in Wigan.
