Results Dutch Darts Championship PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier Round-Up - Michael Smith set for European Tour return as 10 qualify for Maastricht

The final PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier of the 2026 European Tour season took place in Den Bosch this Thursday, with 10 places at the Dutch Darts Championship up for grabs in Maastricht from October 16 to 18.

The big headline is the return of Michael Smith to the European Tour. Smith has not had the best time of it as of late, including the last few days on the Pro Tour, with his averages being pretty poor in defeat, and he was easily beaten by Sebastian Bialecki, to name an example, in a whitewash.
But he adds to his appearance in Basel in a few weeks' time by also playing in the European Tour season closer in Maastricht. He saw off David Sharp in the final 6-4 with a 95 average. While he also claimed wins over Connor Scutt, having not had to play the opening round. He also averaged 96 in that, so certainly a lot better from the St Helens ace.
Other victors through to play in Maastricht include yesterday's ProTour finalist, Scott Williams, who is fighting for his Tour Card; Ally Pally and Minehead hopes will aim for more ranking cash in Maastricht. He saw off top seed Mike de Decker 6-3 with a 90 average.
Scott Williams continues to thrive.
Nick Kenny, Callan Rydz, Stephen Burton, James Hurrell and Mickey Mansell also booked their spots too. Brendan Dolan, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Thibault Tricole, Keane Barry and Tyler Thorpe are all losing in the last round.
Other victors included Max Hopp, who stopped Daryl Gurney in his tracks. Gurney was second seed in this qualifier and was defeated by the German in the final round. While Owen Bates finally saw off Darius Labanauskas.

Peter Wright lost early, though, and Beau Greaves decided not to enter at all. She is in a good spot alternately, though, so it is very likely that she didn't, as she knows there will likely be withdrawals. A calculated guess, but one that, given it is the final ET of the year, is very likely to pay off.
