World champion Rob Cross has seen his contract with Target Darts extended.

The new deal sees the partnership continue until at least 2023. Target added Cross to their roster last year. Shortly after, Voltage beat Phil Taylor to claim glory at the Ally Pally. The 27-year-old recently experienced a blip, losing six competitive games in a row. He currently sits bottom of the Premier League. But the former electrician from Hastings has been tipped to challenge Michael van Gerwen's long-standing dominance.
Target MD Garry Plummer said: “Rob winning the World Championships was only the start of what I think is going to be a very special career.
“I truly believe that Rob is going to be adding a lot more major titles to his collection. This is just the beginning of a magnificent career for Rob, and Target Darts are honoured to have been part of it from the start.
We are looking forward to working with him over the next five years."
