Josh Rock is through to the Last 16 at the
Grand Slam of Darts after victory over Luke Humphries which saw him not only seal the win but the three legs needed to move through with an exuberant 124 sealing it which saw the Northern Irishman celebrate wildly.
"I'm so overwhelmed. I said to Luke I knew as soon as that 124 checkout went in, I knew I had to win three legs and I gave it large as I knew I was into the last 16 so I'm so proud of myself but I said sorry to Luke for celebrating too much but it meant everything to me there," said Rock speaking to Polly James on Sky Sports' coverage post match.
A certain tie against Michael van Gerwen now awaits with Rock looking forward to the task.
"It'll be a good match regardless, Michael is a good player, I'm a good player. I felt pressure in that game as I knew I had to win three legs, I was happy with three legs but I felt comfortable after I won three legs. I think Luke knew as well."
