Rydz ranks World Matchplay Quarter-Final in achievements: "Better than winning that ProTour, better than anything I've ever done"

Callan Rydz is through to the Quarter-Finals of the World Matchplay after coming from 5-2 down to dump out former champion, Rob Cross.

It continues a theme for Rydz who has seen off two former World Champions in Cross and Glen Durrant and next will be Krzysztof Ratajski in a big chance for either player for a maiden semi-final.

"Better than winning that ProTour, better than anything I've ever done but emotions are high for me right now," said Rydz post match.

"The scoring's hasn't been there. It was there against Rob at times but again, my finishing went in so I don't really care. A win is a win."

"Coming from behind shows how much I've grown up as a darts player."
