The next instalment of World Series of Darts action is set to take place this weekend with a return to Copenhagen, the only tournament which survived during COVID-19 last year for the Nordic Darts Masters.
Last time out, Michael Smith was crowned the champion at the US Darts Masters continuing to establish himself as potentially the man to beat at the moment, he begins his campaign in Denmark by facing Vladimir Andersen.
Last year, Michael van Gerwen survived a scare by defeating Fallon Sherrock in the final. Both will return this time around facing Marko Kantele and Darius Labanauskas respectively.
En route to the final defeat, Dimitri van den Bergh lost out to Sherrock in a match that he looked en route to winning but he will return with Benjamin Drue Reus first up. Gary Anderson faces Daniel Larsson who recently impressed on the European Tour, James Wade takes on Madars Razma and Gerwyn Price takes on Brian Løkken. Finally Matthias Örn Friôriksson becomes the first Icelandic player to appear in a TV tournament and faces Peter Wright.
The first round takes place today with the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final taking place over two sessions on Saturday.
