Friday evening at the 2023 UK Open threw up some incredible draws for the fourth round and the allocations are now complete and the schedule confirmed for a bumper night of darting action at Butlin's Minehead.
Starting proceedings will be 16-year-old Thomas Banks aiming to do the unthinkable on the Main Stage and dump out 'The Iceman' Gerwyn Price, while the rest of the ties selected for the Main Stage feature Michael van Gerwen facing off against Dave Chisnall. While Michael Smith will take on his close friend, Ian White.
James Wade - Gary Anderson completes the line-up, with Peter Wright over on Stage Two facing Stephen Bunting in a line-up that could so easily be on the Main Stage also featuring Raymond van Barneveld - Rob Cross, Ross Smith - Jonny Clayton and Dimitri van den Bergh facing Gabriel Clemens.
Danny Noppert not only was left out of the Premier League line-up for winning the tournament last year but the defending champion is nowhere near the Main Stages and will start his campaign on the Outer Boards against Jim Williams.
The other 16-year-old in Luke Littler will face Adam Gawlas over on Stage Four, while Stage Eight perhaps has the best line-up of the outer boards in Ryan Searle v Chris Dobey, Ricky Evans v Andrew Gilding, Alan Soutar v Nathan Aspinall and Luke Humphries v Damon Heta.

- I don't have a problem with someone being whoever they want to be, but ultimately there is a Ladies and Mens format for a reason. What is going to stop substandard men claiming that they are transgender and entering the ladies format for an opportunity to increase their profile, prize money, ranking etc etc. We know that the current crop of PDC players will suck up to van Leuven and will not speak out.richieburnettrocks23-10-2024
- The bottom line is Beau will be a triple World Champion soon. She is so many levels better than the rest of the ladies. Lorraine and Aileen have never really raised their game, I really expected the quality of the ladies game to have improved but excluding Beau, it seems to have detiorated.
