The World Series of Darts is finally set to return Down Under to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2019 with the Queensland Darts Masters starting it off on Friday morning.
The session begins at 10:00am BST and sees the eight PDC invitees take on local qualifiers. Dimitri van den Bergh will look for a third World Series title of the season when he starts proceedings against Koha Kokiri.
Joe Cullen follows up against Dave Marland, while Jonny Clayton faces a potentially tricky test in Kiwi ace Haupai Puha who reached the final of the Australian Darts Open last week in the WDF.
Fallon Sherrock faces PDC Tour Card holder, Gordon Mathers who will return home alongside World Cup winners, Simon Whitlock and Damon Heta who face James Wade and Gerwyn Price respectively.
In between, Michael van Gerwen makes his first appearance since the World Matchplay facing debutant, Bailey Marsh before Joe Comito ends the session facing Michael Smith.
Action will be shown on PDCTV with delayed highlights on ITV4 later today. DartsNews will have live reports so there will be spoilers throughout the next two days.
