The Last 16 is upon us at the 2022
UK Open with Saturday night's bumper session seeing the Quarter-Finals set up with one last visit to Red's Bar also with eight games over the course of the session.
Starting proceedings off on the Main Stage is a Double Dutch duel between Danny Noppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode. This is followed up by
James Wade's first appearance despite being defending champion on the Main Stage this tournament.
'The Machine' as usual has been going about his business and will now face another under the radar player in Boris Krcmar who has been playing superbly on the ProTour this season and has brought that form into the Multi Board room in Minehead.
Often a player who struggles to bring that game into winning form on the stage, can the multiple Soft Tip World Champion reverse that against The Machine?
While the World's top two also feature with
Gerwyn Price and
Peter Wright in ties against Callan Rydz and William O'Connor to end the night.
Over on Stage Two, it is a stacked line-up headlined by two of the most in-form players in darts at the moment in Damon Heta and
Jonny Clayton.
A tie potentially that could have been on the Main Stage, it will see off proceedings in Red's Bar.
It is a stage that could be rapid fire with Ricky Evans set to face Keane Barry in the opener in the quickest game seen on planet darts. This followed by Ryan Searle aiming to end the run of young Pole, Sebastian Bialecki who is the only non Tour Card holder left.
Before the penultimate game sees Mensur Suljovic face
Michael Smith. A lot to choose from on Saturday night but who emerges, find out from 7pm GMT.
