The
Czech Darts Open continues on Sunday afternoon in Prague with the Quarter-Finals to be set up with some top tungsten on the schedule.
As usual, it will go draw bracket order so the winners will face each other in the Quarter-Finals. It all begins with Rowby-John Rodriguez who saw off Scott Waites and Michael Smith and he will look to continue those exploits by taking down Dirk van Duijvenbode to start the session.
Following along will be Jose de Sousa who showed glimmers of a renaissance yesterday, it will be a battle of the Jose's for the Spanish-based Portuguese thrower as he faces Jose Justicia who saw off Jonny Clayton.
Third and fourth up are probably the two ties of the session as
Dimitri van den Bergh and
Luke Humphries face off with the winner getting a chance to face either
Michael van Gerwen who has been imperious on the
European Tour for some time or Mickey Mansell who will look to take advantage of any slip up.
As will Ricky Evans who faces Rob Cross, 'Rapid' has been in some form lately and saw off Krzysztof Ratajski 6-0 in a superb rout and will now have his desires on turning off 'Voltage'. The winner faces Ross Smith or Dave Chisnall.
While the final two ties could see a wide open section of the draw. Adam Gawlas is the only home hope left and faces Ryan Searle who eased past Ritchie Edhouse, before
Adrian Lewis who defeated Gerwyn Price faces Vincent van der Voort. A big chance will likely await whoever comes through that section.
