The Last 16 is upon us at the
European Darts Open in Leverkusen with some top ties to set up the Quarter-Finals.
It begins with
Gerwyn Price who still didn't look at his best after battling injury as of late defeating Luke Woodhouse and he faces a player in a similar predicament but one who has thrived as a result and that is Nathan Aspinall.
Following on from that is a fellow
European Tour winner this year in Luke Humphries who faces Brendan Dolan who will be aiming to recapture the form of the last 12/18 months which has deserted him as of late and priorly saw him as one of the top players on the ProTour who was awaiting another breakthrough on the Euro Tour or TV, could this be his time?
While following that is a triple header of likely the matches to watch in this session with Joe Cullen firstly facing Dirk van Duijvenbode before a bumper clash between Premier League rivals,
Michael van Gerwen and
Jonny Clayton.
Before ending it off with two of the surprise packages in Scott Williams and Josh Rock with both being superb on the ProTour and bringing that onto the European Tour with one of them set to reach the Quarter-Finals. They could face Martin Schindler who will be looking to delight the home crowd again. He faces Dimitri van den Bergh.
While to conclude the session, Jose de Sousa will take on James Wade and Ryan Searle is set for a likely high scoring clash with Dave Chisnall.
