The stage is set, only four players remain in pursuit of the latest PDC major TV title in the World Series of Darts Finals set at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
Only one is a major winner this year in Jonny Clayton but he will face a real test when it comes to claiming back-to-back TV titles when he faces a familiar foe in Michael van Gerwen.
After winning his first TV title of the year at the Nordic Darts Masters to emerge as Number One seed, he has survived his typical scare against Maik Kuivenhoven and built on that with easing past the otherwise untouchable Mervyn King.
A win in front of his home fans was there for him last time in 2019 and it could be five times winner for Mighty MIke later.
But Clayton who has not played since winning the World Grand Prix knows how to beat MVG and knows how to navigate final days more than the World Number Three this year. It could yet be a fourth TV title in the space of a year for 'The Ferret'.
While in the other semi-final, Krzysztof Ratajski will have desires of a first PDC TV final and subsequent title, one of the only aspects of his career so far he hasn't conquered.
He eased past Fallon Sherrock and ended the run of Niels Zonneveld and next has Dimitri van den Bergh who saw off his World Cup teammate, Kim Huybrechts impressively. Who comes out on top when the action resumes in an hour in Holland?
