After the Easter Sunday dinner and Easter Eggs go down, it is time for another helping of top darting action from the
German Darts Grand Prix on Sunday evening.
Michael van Gerwen may not be in action this weekend but the likes of
Gerwyn Price,
Michael Smith,
Peter Wright and Luke Humphries all begin their campaigns this evening.
Price in the tie of the round as he faces
Raymond van Barneveld again after their meetings at the Grand Slam famously and the World Championship.
Humphries returns to the
European Tour after being hospitalized with food poisoning. He faces a near pain free Jeffrey de Zwaan in a likely quick fired affair.
Smith takes on debutant and recent first time Tour Card holder, Adam Warner. While for Wright, it is Lee Evans who will hope to fair better than his second game last week.
Also a familiar Premier League tie opens the night as Dimitri van den Bergh faces Chris Dobey, followed by German talent Liam Maendl-Lawrance who Danny Noppert faces again.
Taking over 40 minutes to defeat Robert Owen yesterday, his methodical style has proven a nightmare to play against but can 'The Freeze' make it two from two.
Other Germans in action include Gabriel Clemens facing Damon Heta and also Martin Schindler taking on Jim Williams in a bumper schedule.
