On Friday, the
Nordic Darts Masters kicks off the first
World Series tournament of the year after a long hiatus for the events due to COVID-19. The venue is the Forum Copenhagen in the Danish capital.
Eight PDC players and eight players both local and the best from the PDC Nordic and Baltic tour come together to play in this event.
Dimitri van den Bergh opens the tournament on Friday night with a tie against Johan Engstrom, while
Michael van Gerwen finishes the evening against Darius Labanauskas.
Other ties include
Jonny Clayton facing Ivan Springborg Poulsen,
Nathan Aspinall taking on Madars Razma and reigning World Champion,
Gerwyn Price is set for a clash with Daniel Larsson.
Gary Anderson makes his return to the oche after deciding against playing in the World Cup and will face Andreas Toft Jørgensen. Niels Heinsøe will meet
Fallon Sherrock in one of the top ties, while
Peter Wright will face Marko Kantele.
The Quarter-Finals will be played on Saturday afternoon, while the conclusion of proceedings on Saturday evening with the semi-finals and final.
