The action continues in the MODUS Icons of Darts Live League with the third day starting shortly.
Wessel Nijman has been the standout in what is a field full of well known names winning two Icons of Darts Live League groups on the bounce.
He has not been defeated at all during the two days and for the third day running, he will start against Raymond van Barneveld.
Starting the day will be Andy Jenkins who only came second on his first foray in the competition due to Nijman, he has to be one of the favourites as a result.
He takes on Mark Webster who is back after his day off for the week. Paul Nicholson as a result is not involved today.
There is also like the other two days, the curious case of Raymond van Barneveld. The Dutch legend who started off as the favourite for the title but has not won a game at all so far and will hope today is the day to put it right.
David Evans is also part of the line-up once again today with ‘Stretch’ sitting in second. As usual it is round robin format which sees the best of nine legs.
It begins at 11am BST with select betting sites showing the action. DartConnect will also have all scores and data.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
