It's time again for the
Players Championship Finals. The annual tournament in which the best 64 ProTour players of the past season compete in the English coastal town of Minehead.
Due to the high number of participants, two stages will be used during the first two days of play. The main stage will be televised, while the matches on Board 2 can be watched via a live stream on PDC TV.
Among those on the main stage include
James Wade and
Rob Cross fresh off superb weeks at the Grand Slam of Darts. Wade will end the session against William O'Connor.
While Cross faces Scottish ace, Cameron Menzies.
Josh Rock also had a great week in Wolverhampton and at the site of his World Youth triumph opens up against Rowby-John Rodriguez.
Ross Smith,
Ryan Searle and Damon Heta are also among the main names on the Main Stage. While on Stage Two, Jonny Clayton, Dimitri van den Bergh and Stephen Bunting are among the leading lights in action to start proceedings this afternoon in Minehead.
On Friday night the last sixteen matches of the first round will be played. Among others, Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Gary Anderson, Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries will be in action.
