Tonight, fans should set their alarm clock early again to follow the proceedings during the final day of the
US Darts Masters. The eight remaining players will then battle for the title during the World Series tournament at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Michael van Gerwen continues his tournament against Jim Long, who caused a stunt only last night by eliminating Michael Smith.
Van Gerwen in turn was 6-2 too strong for Jake Macmillan. Next,
Rob Cross and
Dimitri van den Bergh face each other. They won from Jason Brandon (6-2) and JT Davis (6-2) respectively in their opening match.
At the other end of the tournament schedule,
Gerwyn Price will cross face off with
Luke Humphries. Price showed top form last night by recording an average of 105 in his duel against Jules van Dongen (6-2).
Nathan Aspinall also threw an average of over 105, leading to a 6-4 win over Matt Campbell. 'The Asp' now meets
Jeff Smith, who surprisingly knocked Peter Wright out of the tournament.
How can I watch this tournament on TV?
In the UK, the tournament will be shown from midnight on PDCTV live which requires a subscription for access.
ITV3 instead of ITV4 will show the tournament on delay on Sunday afternoon with the British Touring Car Championship meaning it will shift channels.
How much prize money is there to win?
The total prize fund for this tournament contains £60,000, in addition to the fact that regular PDC players also receive an additional fee for their appearance at the tournament.
