Seeded players and qualifiers entries for International Darts Open confirmed

Despite that, the seeds have been announced and the qualifiers will take place this weekend. Michael van Gerwen will continue his return to the European Tour as number one seed with Ian White the number two seed.

Dave Chisnall and Daryl Gurney who have also won European Tour events this season are next up in the seeding. As well as defending champion Gerwyn Price who will be back to defend his title.

James Wade is not involved; so every player moves up one meaning Steve Beaton will only need to attempt to qualify for one event with him sat in 16th for Riesa. This could mean a repeat of his World Matchplay tie with Michael van Gerwen.

In terms of qualifying, the likes of Jamie Hughes, Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock; as well as Raymond van Barneveld, Gabriel Clemens and Dimitri van den Bergh in the second qualifier will all be attempting to be involved this coming Friday in Hildesheim.
