The semi-finals are set at PDC UK Q-School with Nick Kenny assured of his return to the PDC Tour in 2023 and he is likely to be joined yet by another Welshman, his opponent next in Callum Goffin.
Kenny saw off Andy Boulton in a straight shootout for a Tour Card with permutations still to be decided in the Order of Merit race to watch out for.
Goffin wins a Tour Card if he wins one leg in his semi-final, while Conan Whitehead's wait will go to the wire. If Kenny or Goffin win the day, 'The Barbarian' returns to the tour.
But Prakash Jiwa and Adam Smith-Neale could yet be the cork in the bottle, if either win the day, they seal a Tour Card and Whitehead misses out.
