Sherrock claims sixth PDC Women's Series title with final win over Hedman

Fallon Sherrock has continued the run of either her or Lisa Ashton winning every PDC Women's Series title this year with a sixth overall victory claimed for the Milton Keynes ace with one event to go.

Sherrock averaged 95 in seeing off Deta Hedman 5-1 as the 27-year-old continues not to rest on her laurels despite sealing Grand Slam and World Championship qualification with relative ease.

En route, she saw off Rachel Brooks (5-0), Lorraine Winstanley (4-1), Michelle Andrews (4-0), Katie Sheldon (4-1) and Courtney Hine (4-0) only dropping three legs all event.

There is one more Women's Series tournament to come to conclude proceedings and who could bet against Sherrock or Ashton claiming it?
